The Moomin thermal bottle is a reusable drink container that keeps drinks cold or hot. The bottle has two layers of stainless steel - an inner wall and an outer wall, with a thin layer of air between, so the temperature of the drink remains the same without changing the outside temperature of the bottle. Plastic screw cap for drinking on the go and a removable lid for refilling.
Heat retention has been calculated assuming the addition of hot water at 95±1°C and subsequent cooling to room temperature. After 1 hour, the temperature was 87±1°C; after 6 hours, it exceeded 68±1°C. Cold retention has been calculated by adding cold water at 2±1°C and then leaving it at room temperature. After 6 hours, the temperature was less than 9 ± 1 °C.
