The young Martian crash-lands in Moominvalley, throwing everyday life into chaos. Sniff tries to profit by selling parts of the crashed spaceship, but accidentally drops them in the water on the way. The little Martian longs for home, and just when no one knows what to do, his parents arrive in Moominvalley from the skies in search of their child. In a heartwarming reunion, the little Martian is reunited with his family, and his parents put the Moominvalley back in order. Based on the comic “Moomin and the Martians” (1957) and the novel “Comet in Moominland” (1946).
