Tove Jansson’s beloved character, the trickster Stinky, gets a new character set in the Arabia’s Moomin Classics collection. The illustration of the Stinky mug is based on two different comic strip stories: “Moomin Begins a New Life” and “Club Life in Moominvalley”, originally published in 1956 and 1957.
Illustrator and ceramic artist Tove Slotte has created a more story-based style of illustration for the new Arabia sets. Within the illustration of the Stinky mug, we meet the villain of the Moominvalley who, as it turns out, is trying to save Moominmamma’s handbag from an unruly pooch. Even though Stinky is a bit of a scoundrel, he would never steal Moominmamma’s handbag.
The mug has a timeless shape and design. It is machine washable at 30° C, and it is frost-, oven-, and micro resistant. Volume: 0,3 l.

Tove Janssons älskade figurer, Mumindalens skurk, Stinky, får nya figurkärl i Arabias serie av klassiska Mumin-kärl. Stinky-muggens motiv bygger på två olika tecknade serier: ”Vi börjar ett nytt liv” från år 1956 och ”Föreningsliv” från år 1957.
I Stinky-muggen motiv ses Mumindalens skurk, som denna gång emellertid räddar Muminmammans handväska från en hund. Trots att Stinky tycker om att snatta, skulle han aldrig stjäla Muminmammans väska.
