After almost a month of rain, Snorkmaiden grows tired of staying indoors. With her umbrella in hand, she sets out on her adventure and discovers that the Moominvalley is flooded. The Moomin family immediately steps in to help by rescuing the stranded friends and offering a warm shelter. As the water slowly recedes, the mood lightens as everyone finds their own way to enjoy the rainy day. Mymble and Little My turn kitchenware into makeshift boats to splash around in the water. Even rainy days can turn into fun adventures in Moominvalley! Based on the comics “Moomin falls in love” (1956) and “Club life in Moominvalley” (1957), the design is inspired by a rainy-day adventure.
