The Moomin’s Day 2025 collection is inspired by Tove Jansson’s first Moomin story, The Moomins and the Great Flood, which follows Moominmamma and Moomintroll on their journey to find Moominpappa in the midst of a great flood. In the end, they also discover the Moominhouse—a place where everyone is welcome just as they are, forming the foundation of the Moomin way of life.
The beautiful green and white-coloured kitchen towel features a heartwarming scene where Moominmamma has created a cosy nest for Moomintroll, the little creature who later becomes known as Sniff, and Tulippa, a blue-haired girl they meet along the way. All three have snuggled up together, falling asleep to the peaceful sounds of the marsh frogs.
The towel includes hanging loops on both the long and short sides. It is made of GOTS-certified organic cotton. Care instructions: Machine wash at 40°C, wash before use, and it may shrink by 5%. Designed in Finland, made in Bangladesh. Size: 45 x 65cm.
