The harmonious blue and white collection with touch of Japanese is an ode to Tove Jansson’s life and work. The design is inspired by the soft, tactile forms of the rocky island of Klovharun, called Haru, where Tove spent her summers. Haru is also Japanese and means spring. The illustrations are inspired by wreaths designed by the artist herself, celebrating the flora of the island.

Malli on saanut inspiraationsa saaristomeren pehmeäreunaisiksi pyöristämistä kivistä ja kallioista Klovharun saarelta. Saari tunnetaan myös nimellä Haru, jossa Tove vietti kesänsä. Haru on myös japania ja tarkoittaa kevättä. Kuvitukset ovat saaneet inspiraationsa taiteilijan itsensä suunnittelemista kranssikuvioista, jotka juhlistavat saaren kasvistoa.

Den harmoniska blåvita kollektionen med en touch japanskt är en hyllning till Tove Janssons liv och verk. Designen är inspirerad av de mjukt kantiga klipporna på ön Klovharun i skärgårdshavet. Ön är också känd som Haru, där Tove tillbringade sina somrar. Haru är också japanska och betyder vår. Illustrationerna är inspirerade av konstnärens egna mönster av krysantemum som hyllar öns flora.
